Terminal, i think that it is something that provides that bridge between the Ferry Building area and Fishermans Wharf that we think has, you know, been a wonderful resource and has attracted so many more people to the water front. And there have been, however, difficulties with the development in the north east water front that is chronicled in this report. And we had the Hotel Project that went through the long process, almost got to the finish line but, for the lack of public consensus on the design. And that process failed, and there was also a high profile, proposal for piers 27 to 31 by the Mills Development corporation, and that again, was a mixed use, recreation project and had too much retail and did not achieve the kind of public consensus needed to get through the public process and so on that basis, we see that there are really still some work to do, with our relations with the community, and that will come forth and our recommendations for fostering those further conversati
Address the Sea Level Rise through 2100 and the fort and the sister city agencies are undertaking the Planning Efforts right now to look at seismic risk to the sea wall and to address the Sea Level Rise in places like mission creek. And importantly, we are thinking that our recommendation today, is that leasing historic piers for more than 35 years, without a Sea Level Rise strategy is no longer advisable. So, this is the last of our recommendations, and it really goes to what we suggest for planning Going Forward. We think that in order to balance state and local interests, in the water front, where there is planning Going Forward, we need to invite bcdc and the state lands to participate in the process. Much in the way that we are seeing with the bcdc port working group. Given our recommendation that we do the subarea planning and the discreet areas of the water front, rather than the whole water front as was the case with the adoption of the water front land use, and there is a lot

Good afternoon, planning and development staff, we are going to switch gears a little bit and talk about the water taxi, something that is relatively new to us all here in San Francisco. The one on the left that you have not seen is the boat belonging to the San Francisco water taxi and you know, you could see it in action there, and in that the other one on the right is or belongs to our other, and our second operator, and tide line marine group and you can see it there, and docked at pier 1 and a half here in the fair building area. And i am going to be talking a little bit more about both of those operators in a moment. And just to go through kind of
Slightly ahead of schedule and keep it on the trailer and park the trailer in the storage lot and bring it out to the project as they need it. And obviously it is close timing between feeding the project with the steel arriving and because we dont have especially for the size of the elements we dont have the storage on site, later when the train gets poured and the floor slab for the finished trades there will be more room to stage the material on there and the bus deck and the roof deck for the specific activity and not for the structural steel.
