After our action today. I wanted to jump into a little bit of detail about how we are going to resolve some of the issues. In particular ground floor activation. So, commissioner ellington got to a little bit of that when you were talking about entrances on first street. I would like to hear more thoughts maybe from the architect on how we are going to get to some compromise on ground floor activation because the parking is on the ground floor that lovely sort of courtyard which i understand is for private use. Thats above peoples heads on the ground floor and that does appear to be that activated particularly considering there is ground floor units in the Affordable Housing right across from there. So, rather than just leading that to some future point, i would like to hear some ideas that many people have already had about how to help . Dear supervisors, as you know, the Union Square Business Improvement District is dedicated to the improvement of the building in [speaker not understood]. 706 mission and support this project e. The development of the Mexican Museum would be a major addition to San Francisco and the neighborhood. The addition of additional residents would add street life and benefit merchants and other business ines in the union square area. Weve reviewed the shadow studies relative to 706 mission and find any impacts on the park to be dee minute miss. Any shadowing of the park is a small area early in the morning and in winter. The Union Square Business Improvement District has devoted considerable work to improving union square. We would oppose any project we felt would harm the park.
