Biologists discovered extremely rare fish species in Devil's Hole, Nevada. National Park Service found 263 Devil's Hole pupfish in Devil's Hole, Nevada, after an earthquake hit the area in September.

 

The Devils Hole pupfish is entirely restricted to a small part of a Nevada cavern and has been isolated for between 10,000 and 20,000 years.

The quake on September 19 triggered a seiche  – a standing wave – in a pool of water in a Death Valley National Park cave.
