Silver school board meeting turns festive
With the holidays in the air, Silver High School jazz band students performed Christmas songs Monday at the Silver school board meeting, including “Santa Baby,” “Let it Snow,” “Here Comes Santa Claus,” and “Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer.” After the performance, the meeting began with recognition of the Kiwanis Student of the Month. Bob Carson of the Kiwanis Club of Silver City handed out the awards to students. …
