This month, the small screen gives us some big scares. Here’s a roundup of the best new shows, and a bit of scary political news.

Syfy and USA Network have kindly released the first episode of CHUCKY season 2 online for all to see.

TV review: Chucky Season 2 takes mythology to satisfying, unpredictable places. Season 2 of Chucky, premiering Oct. 5 on SYFY and USA, delivers the horror and dark humor fans of the series expect. The new season also takes bigger swings with the televised format to go beyond what the movies ever could.

The gleefully insidious, franchise-extending series we never knew we wanted, but one that fans deserve.

It’s all led to this, and now, the real fun can start. The season finale of SYFY & USA’s Chucky, "An Affair to Dismember," opens with Andy Barclay (Alex Vincent) arriving at the Wheeler household, where he’s greeted by a newly patricidal Junior (Teo Briones). Andy’s on the hunt for what he believes to be the final Chucky doll, but now that Junior’s firmly in Chucky’s corner, his task just got a lot more complicated.

In the following preview for this weeks chapter of SYFY & USA Networks Chucky, Tiffany (Jennifer Tilly) sure knows how to make an entrance.

After the events of the previous episode, the kids of Hackensack have landed in the local hospital. Jake's (Zackary Arthur) feeling some understandable guilt over his part in unleashing Chucky on the Cross household, and as he's checking in on Junior (Teo Briones), Devon (Bjorgvin Arnarson), and little Caroline (Carina Battrick), that's when Lexy (Alyvia Alyn Lind) confronts him to ask about Chucky.
