Talks for Duke of Sussex to host US show broke down at the 11th hour, according to inside sources

Prince Harry was in talks to host "Saturday Night Live," but discussions stalled, according to a report.

According to a new report, the Duke of Sussex was in talks last year to host the popular NBC comedy show ahead of the release of his bombshell memoir Spare, which was released on January 10.

Producers on the long-running NBC show were keen to get the royal on board, with Harry, 38, described as being all in.

James Austin Johnson and Devon Walker appeared as British rappers "Milly Pounds" and "Shirty" to mock the royals, after Prince Harrys book Spare.
