The recent "unprecedented" surge of kids being hospitalized for RSV is still putting a strain on hospital resources. But in some areas of the state, it looks like cases may starting to slow.

Corewell Health says it has filed an emergency request to add more beds at Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital as the number of RSV cases soar in West Michigan.

This comes as the state sees a surge in children sick with RSV, respiratory syncytial virus.
