Campaign staffers of NYC mayoral candidate Dianne Morales to protest firings

Workers for the progressive Democratic candidate are planning a march Friday morning to protest the firing of four union organizers yesterday afternoon.
Campaign staffers, some of whom say they are on strike, and supporters plan to march from Bryant Park to the Morales campaign headquarters nearby.
“This will be a chance for union members to lay out updated demands and publicly address the termination of union leadership,” the union said in a tweet.
The poll, which was conducted by Fontas Advisors and Core Decision Analytics a week ago, found Adams in front with 13% of those polled backing him up 3 points from the 10% he got in a Fontas poll taken in March.
