A brilliantly colorful holiday cactus garden has just sprung up at The Ritz-Carlton, Dove Mountain, making for the kind of eye candy that few could ever imagine.
The gardeners behind this sugary spectacle are a team of ten resort chefs and culinarians, and their vibrantly edible landscape is made exclusively with multi-colored fondant and candy. The edible Cactus Garden at The Ritz-Carlton, Dove Mountain took ten days to assemble, and it will be on display at the Tucson-area resort until December 28, 2017. It was created with 300 pounds of fondant, 600 pounds of brown sugar, 1,000 pounds of candy pieces and several tons of whimsy.
