Mumbai-Ahmedabad Bullet Train Project: Nine Companies Bid For Construction Of Sabarmati Maintenance Depot

The National High Speed Rail Corporation Limited (NHSRCL) on Friday (19 February) opened the technical bids for the construction of Sabarmati Maintenance depot for 508-km Mumbai-Ahmedabad High Speed rail project, popularly known as the Bullet Train project, in which nine companies participated.
The NHSRCL, which is the implementing agency of the bullet train project, said that it had invited bids for the preparatory works for the subsequent construction of the Sabarmati maintenance depot for MAHSR corridor on 22 October last year.

New Delhi: Mumbai-Ahmedabad bullet train project progress got another push as nine companies, including infrastructure major KEC International, Patel Infrastructure, and SCC-VRS (JV), have bid to undertake preparatory works for the Sabarmati maintenance depot of the Mumbai-Ahmedabad High Speed Rail Corridor (package C-8).
As per National High-Speed Rail Corporation Limited (NHSRCL), total nine bidders have participated in the process and financial bids will be opened after the evaluation of the technical bids. The project cost is estimated to be around Rs 500 crore.
