“I never thought it would be this long,” said the soccer fan, who returned Wednesday to Estadio Caliente in Tijuana for a Xolos game.
Tijuana Xoloitzcuintles professional soccer team reunited with their fans at the Caliente Stadium, after 16 months during which the team’s supporters could not watch the players due to COVID-19.
But Wednesday night they could gather again, during a friendly match against Mazatlán that ended in a scoreless draw.
