Disability Ambassadors Program News Today

When Junior Oneila Mendive walked through the doors of UM her freshman year, she immediately saw a need for community within the disabled student population and resolved to create one.

First conceptualized during meetings between students, administrators, and the Student Coalition for Disabilities working group, a new organization aims to offer support, raise awareness, and build a sense of community for students with disabilities.
