The DSWD said facility turnover, which was held on Feb. 18, was aimed at providing assistance to the communities for the management of COVID-19 pandemic,
“The facility, which costs P 2,363,136, is a subproject implemented through DSWD’s KALAHI-CIDSS (Kapit-Bisig Laban sa Kahirapan-Comprehensive and Integrated Delivery of Social Services) program, together with the Municipal Government of Barobo and community volunteers in Barangay Tambis,” it said in a statement.
Around 7,093 individuals or 1,511 households in Barangay Tambis in Barobo town are expected to be served by the 186.6-square meter quarantine facility, which was completed in October 2020, the DSWD Caraga said.
“It is complete with a nurse station and three isolation rooms. Each isolation room has a three-bed capacity, a restroom, and a lavatory.”
