The Massive Probe That Could Land Trump in Jail Hired an Ex-Mueller Investigator

The fraud investigator who helped bring down former Trump aide Paul Manafort is back on the case this time focusing on the ex-president himself. According to CNN, Morgan Magionos, a former FBI agent and member of Robert Mueller’s team, is working on Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus Vance’s sweeping probe into Donald Trump’s business interests.  Vance reportedly brought Magionos on last year, as part of an accounting team from FTI Consulting. She spent nearly a decade working for the FBI as a member of its international corruption squad and is a certified fraud examiner and an accountant. Her investigation into Manafort led to multiple charges against the former Trump aide, including for bank and tax fraud, and she served as a “star witness” in his 2018 trial. Among her more notable achievements: uncovering Manafort’s $15,000 ostrich skin jacket, which became a symbol of his over-the-top lifestyle one funded by his shady work for various foreign governments.

America s Race Against New COVID Strains Just Hit a Speed Bump

To revist this article, visit My Profile, then View saved stories. With COVID cases rising from their early spring lull, the race against dangerous variants has taken on an even greater sense of urgency. Unfortunately, the United States vaccination sprint is now facing a setback: Following a mix-up at a Baltimore production facility in March, states are expected to receive 85% fewer Johnson & Johnson shots next week, a massive drop that could slow down the U.S. vaccination campaign. It wasn’t clear if the supply dip was related to last month’s error, and Johnson & Johnson says it should still be on track to deliver 100 million single-dose shots to the U.S. by the end of next month. But the sharp drop from five million doses to 700,000 doses to states next week comes at a bad time, with infections spiking along with pandemic fatigue.

I Am Excited About It, Ya Dig? Snoop Dogg Talks Crypto, Clubhouse, and NFTs

A lot of people hear the name Snoop Dogg, and they think of ’90s rap, smoking blunts, and Long Beach, California. But what most people don’t know is that Snoop, whose real name is Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr., is a prolific entrepreneur, always on the cutting edge of new technologies, and has invested in a handful big-name start-ups, including the telemedicine company, HIMS, that recently went public, through a SPAC, at $1.6 billion. Now, he’s getting into the NFT game, and plans to launch a collection of eight pieces, including an original piece of art that contains a Snoop Dogg track that no one has ever heard of before, which he wrote and produced just for this “drop.” I caught up with Snoop to get his thoughts on cryptocurrency, the insanity of NFTs, and how much weed he smoked during the pandemic.

Private Jets, Mega-Mansions, and Broken Hearts: Inside the Messy, Litigious Breakup of an OnlyFans Model and Her Über-Wealthy Boyfriend

Last December 17, the unlikely May-to-December romance between Stephen Cloobeck and Stefanie Gurzanski sure seemed like it was heading toward a happy Hollywood ending. That night, at a cost of $130,000, he threw a lavish 26th birthday party for her and her five girlfriends at his $45 million house in Cabo San Lucas, after flying them down to Mexico from Los Angeles on his Global Express private jet. He gave her a $200,000 Richard Mille watch. He plied everyone with $7,000 worth of caviar, 80 bottles of Domaines Ott wine, 12 bottles of 1942 Don Julio tequila, and $13,000 worth of “swag” bags, filled with specially designed Stefanie Gurzanski keepsakes (embossed with “Baby G AF”—her Instagram bio). He gave Gurzanski and each of her friends a Chanel handbag, totaling $30,000.
