Mueller apparently -- we know hes not senate confirmed but now thats disqualifying for president trump. mueller should have been senate confirmed. even though he was senate confirmed as the fbi director. you also heard him unleash a broadside against president obama. accusing him of hollowing out the military. lets be clear. president trump has continued obamas policies with some minor tweaks, but basically the same policy in afghanistan and in the fight against isis. you heard some broadsides a...

>> i think hes still talking. i dont hear the helicopter lifting just yet. just to recap briefly, he said he didnt talk to whitaker on the mueller probe. now, president trump was also asked what he thought about potential attorney general chris christie. he said he was at the white house yesterday but he didnt see him and he hasnt talked to him about that job yet. on whitaker, he didnt think it was disqualifying he made all these comments on cable news. stephan stephanie, he stressed that whitak...

That already exceeds -- think about this -- the total nationwide early vote from the last midterms in 2014. weve got reporters fanned out across the nation this weekend. garrett haake covering texas. hallie jackson with trump in florida right now. and vaughn hillyard in arizona. garrett, starting with you, a lot of people think of texas as pretty red. how did this get to be such a competitive race, and which way do you see it heading this weekend? >> reporter: thats a great question, ari. look, ...

Disqualifying beto orourke as being too liberal for the state of texas. i bounced back and forth between the two candidates and they are talking to almost entirely different electorates. they are talking to different groups of people about different sets of issues. one of the things that cruz says is this is the race with the most contrast of any race in the country. you can hear the cruz supporters getting involved. cruz is right about that. there is no race in the country with more contrast. t...

Was captured. i like people who werent captured. i hate to tell you. >> well, to state the obvious, smeerg and mocking one of the republican parties most respected leaders and one of our militarys greatest heros as a republican candidate for president would not end up being disqualifying for trump. for conservatives like me this was the first of many signs that something was amiss in the republican party. insults of course continued from mocking a disabled journalist to attacking a gold star fam...

Apology would be. >> you have also taken a little bit of flak for something you said about judge kavanaughs accusers and at first you called allegations absurd and you cleared up you referred to the timing of the allegations coming out and even if the allegations are true that that should not perhaps be disqualifying because it was 36 years ago. with weeks to go, do you stand by the statements? >> well, the context of the statement was that if what he did 36 years ago, if its true, wouldnt neces...

Around on why the hearing did go the way did it. its very unorthodox now that judge kavanaugh wrote the op-ed he did after that where he partially repenned for the way he presented himself in that hearing where he said there should be no aisle at the supreme court, no caucus rooms at the supreme court. i think we all know were headed towards an ugly red and blue jersey place in the judiciary. one guy who has been accused of gang rape and speaking about that and losing his cool i dont think is di...

Gop narrative that we should didi disavow what bill clinton did, but not talk about what donald trump is doing. and thats what hillary clinton did. we can talk about what bill clinton did in the 90s, but lets talk about what donald trump is going currently. all the women who have come forward and made accusations against him, we. dont see the same kind of movement happening in the republican base to cause donald trump to resign from office. we dont see gop senators coming forward to say that his...
