WATERTOWN — Laying in a hospital bed at Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center in 2017, dying of liver failure with a septic knife wound in his hip, Grant D. Robinson was confronted
WATERTOWN â District Attorney Kristyna S. Mills doesnât want her light-heartedness toward the legalization of marijuana to be taken as a signal that sheâs not concerned.
âItâs a political thing,â said Charles Donoghue, the city chief of police. âWe enforce the law, so weâre going to do what weâre supposed to do.â
In the same camp is Ms. Mills, whoâs been the Jefferson County District Attorney since 2015. She said she has several grave concerns, but her approach is multi-faceted and aimed at fairness in knowing the law is the law, and now is the time to make a game plan and move on. Sheâs not necessarily for it, but at the same time her office has bigger concerns.
