通州区推进全国文化中心建设领导小组办公室相关负责人介绍，规划明确的四大战略定位中，第一条就提出了建设连通古今的文化魅力之带，打造凝聚悠久历史、荟萃古今文明的“历史文脉”。因此，做好大运河文化保护传承成为本年度建设任务的重中之重，共安排了8项具体建设任务，以加强对沿线文化遗产的保护利用。 其中，路县故城、通州古城、张家湾漕运古镇这三座古城将实施整体风貌保护和利用，打造城市副中心的大运河文化标识区。路县故城整体保护将开展路县故城遗址考古发掘，原址整体保护故城遗址，恢复故城的护城河等原貌，建设汉代路县故城遗址博物馆和路县故城考古遗址公园。今年，项目将完成路县故城考古遗址公园先行启动区一期园林绿化工程，推进路县故城遗址保护展示工程建设，开展路县故城考古遗址公园二期建
