Army Chief General M.M. Naravane’s announcement that the Court of Inquiry into the incident of killing of civilians in firing by Army’s para commandos in Mon district of Nagaland is expected to submit.
The AFSPA empowers the security forces to conduct operations and arrest anyone without any prior warrant. It also gives immunity to the forces if they shoot someone dead.
