A new urgent care center has opened in Jacksonville, one that will be a resource for those struggling with mental health, substance abuse or both.

The Onslow County Sheriffs Office is working to train all deputies in a training that will help combat the county mental health crisis.

A recently approved contract with a New Hanover County facility will now help provide long-term treatment to those affected by the opioid epidemic in Onslow County.
