The Bengaluru unit of the agency, which is probing the case against Shivakumar, had asked the Managing Director of Jaihind Communications Pvt Ltd to appear before it on January 11, 2024, along with all the requisite documents sought by the investigation officer.
Karnataka BJP MLA Basangouda Yatnal had previously filed an impleading application when D K Shivakumar had filed a memo to withdraw his appeal against the previous BJP government’s sanction to the CBI.
The Court allowed Deputy CM DK Shivakumar to withdraw a plea against the CBI after being informed that the Congress-led State government has withdrawn consent granted by the earlier regime for a CBI probe.
