His comments came after BJP registered victory in three Hindi-speaking states in the recent-concluded Assembly elections.

In a scathing attack on the DMK over its MP DNV Senthilkumar's remark on Hindi heartland states, Tamil Nadu BJP chief K Annamalai compared the party's "theory" to that of the late Nazi leader Adolf Hitler on Wednesday.

During the elections, the row over some DMK leaders' remarks against Sanatan Dharma had been latched on by the BJP to target the Congress.

The demand was made by Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) MP and Parliamentary party leader T R Baalu in Lok Sabha and Tiruchi Siva in Rajya Sabha.
