shocking. the latest data says homicide is up in new york. people say crime is down, shooting as a man rapes are down. it s a bad situation. everybody knows who loves this city that it doesn t feel safe. a man got stabbed in the subway the other day, his things were stolen. you can use a knife, a gun. there s all kinds of ways to go about this business. i am sensing that mayor adams saw and heard some of what happened during the last election in terms of what people care about. the things he ran on he is starting to move forward on. one of those is to remove people who are mentally unstable from the streets involuntarily and put them into hospitals, then figure out where to go from there, which will be big for him to figure out. increase in police on the subways and in the streets.
specifically based on a politician s views on abortion? no. strictly no. no. if the choice is pro-life or pro-choice and they re only pro-life with no circumstance, i would never vote for them. so, yes, i would make that decision solely on that because that s a line i m unwilling to cross. you said crime is your biggest issue. doesn t feel safe. it doesn t. in westchester? cars are being stolen. that s not something that s happened since i was a kid in the 80s. i actually voted so they would have to right to vote freely and that s being threatened. when i m deciding who to vote for, it s a disqualifier if the person isn t 100% honest of the fact we ve got an open, honest, fair, and free election. and you re speaking as a
people safe and secure. so what do voters do moms like me and everywhere do who is going to keep our community safe? who is going to keep our kids safe? and we are looking for alternative and that s really what it s going to come down to on the ballot is who is actually going to talk about and commit to these issues and i think republicans have the advantage when it comes to safety and security. brian: david, the weird thing is, the people who were saying defund the police and reimagine the police force are now we can t get cops. we can t get them to not put down their badge. on top of that, we find out that karen bass, for example, running for mayor against police got robbed doesn t feel safe. two lawmakers in illinois got carjacked within 90 minutes of each other. they also want to reimagine police. so the reality is hitting the lawmakers, david. well, the reality is hitting them, but they actually don t care, brian. they haven t changed their policies. so, whether karen bass los
