Person. before anyone has seen the evidence, including the reporter, you have all the democrats now who want to jump off the ledge on impeachment. my political advice would be to slow down. it does source two sources. one of the buzzfeed reporters told new day an hour ago they have more sources that were off the record. only these two sources confirming it that they could put on therd ro. they had backup sources on this as well. they point to e-mails, text messages and other documentary evidence here. they point to it. they don t describe it. they haven t seen it and they don t know exactly what it is. i m not saying the reporters have done anything wrong. it might be 100% true. i m just naturally skeptical. none of us have seen the evidence. i want to see it before i start making crazy predictions about going down an impeachment road or anything else that could happen. jackie, let s be clear. this doesn t come out of nowhere. michael cohen has already
We want to be clear. those people, their communications that they have, any communications that they have with brokers, the s.e.c. said at the press conference, that they have recorded telephone conversations with the brokers side of things. those do exist in this case. obviously, they have a tremendous amount of trade logs. so they will know exactly when people logged on to their online accounts to be able to trade this. the exact orders that they put in. when you come to try to track stock trades, particularly when they are done through public markets like this, it s really easy for the s.e.c. we are not talking with s.e.c. capital and steve cohen. they are routing shares through all sorts of brokerage houses. they traded stocks like we would. this is much more straightforward? yes. it s brazen, actually. we will get to the legal aspects in a moment. this doesn t come out of nowhere. there were already questions about collins trading for the past year and a half or so.
Hundreds of people saying this is a very small group of people. most communities, my community would ostracize those folks. nobody would have anything to do with those kind of people. i don t think it s a large group of people. a few crazy people you ll find always of different groups, but no mass group i know of that s supporting any individuals. i know the southern poverty law center that of course, monitors different hate groups said there s an expectation going into today that this would be the largest gathering, hate gathering, their words, in decades in this country. that doesn t come out of nowhere. do we know how many people that was? expected up to 6,000 people. that s how many they were anticipated. let s say there were 10,000 and 5,000 on each side. in a country with several hundred million people, 5,000 people in the biggest group ever assembled is all they could come up with? that s good news for our
Important, this c change or shift in the landscape. what do democrats stand for? what do the stands stand for now. do you feel a state of topsy-turviness right now? absolutely. this doesn t come out of nowhere. we saw some of this with the tea party. in some ways, this is a culmination of that. certainly, if working class americans are the heart of trump coalition, in a party whose policies have not really matched working class america s needs, it signals, the democrats have a lot of scrambling to do. but the republicans have got to think what their message is about. what does history teach us about what this country does when there s this acceptance of anger? i don t care what anybody says this morning, donald trump ran and won by stoking people s sanger sang anger in this country. we haven t seen a lot of that.
At the moment. when you wake up to these kinds of headlines julian, white nationalists plot election day show of force. election day concerns of violence are a vowing total war. hate base fear driving political anxiety. how does that weigh on us? i worry about it. i think we ve seen a lot of serious evidence, both anger in the electorate, belief that system is rigged, and obviously threats of monitoring on voting day, which we ve had a history of doing that. so it doesn t come out of nowhere. so i think there s serious concern about the tone of the last month and what kind of impact it can have and it also plays into our very polarized electorate that we have. so even before donald trump we had a country where some of the electorate doesn t like or trust the other part of the electorate, so you add to it some of this rhetoric and i think it can be a very toxic environment. had you a very interesting e-mail exchange with each other and you can read about it on cnn.com, and here s
With their entourage. but the problem doesn t come out of nowhere. because the clintons arouse a kind of crazed response from political enemies that makes dealing in a responsible way with public questions, very difficult for them. it goes to the heart of the dysfunction of our politics the ideological and cultural warfare that they re in the crosshairs of. you listen to jeb bush in a rather hypocritical way talk about the way he s handled this kind of thing. when we think about what s important, we look about why bush is running for president, why hillary clinton is running for president. when we heard her at her best yesterday at the beginning of her press conference when she went after the 47 republican senators and their irresponsibility. that s her at her best. and yet, we re also seeing s.o.p. clintonian paranoia and the enemies paranoia here.
