Not something that, quite frankly, im comfortable with. beyond it, i think it has practical problems. and ill share what they are. and this is really about the safety of the teachers as much as anything else. imagine in the middle of this crisis and the s.w.a.t. team comes into the building, and theres an adult with a weapon in their hands, and the s.w.a.t. team doesnt know who is he, and we have an additional tragedy that was unnecessary. and so i understand how some people are saying that, and...

And this is about the safety of the teacher as anything else. imagine in the middle of the crisis a s.w.a.t. team comes in the building and adult has a weapon. the s.w.a.t. team doesnt know who is is leahy we have the additional tragedy. >> representative if marco rubio changing his stance and position on this do you think there is a possibility that others on the republican side are changing theirs as well. >> well it remains to be seen. he should be credited with the fact that he showed up, un...

There is so much news happening tonight. i want to talk about with akim jeffrey, a new york exact a member of the judiciary committee. congressman thank you for joining us. i want to play this sound from senator marco rubio at our townhall and get your reaction. lets listen. >> i have told you i support lifting the age from 18 to 21 of buying a rifle. i understand before i walked out here is that that organization is not in favor of that backup. but i think its the right thing to do. >> am i sup...

Weve accepted that we have air marshals who are armed on our flights because we know there is a terrorist risk. thats the exact same thing we need to be thinking about in identifying these people. my wife is a teacher, daughter attends public schools. what i dont want to do is push forward a so-called solution and ultimately it ends up not making any difference. >> sandra: interesting to get your perspective. we saw at the town hall debate yesterday where marco rubio was the only elected gop off...

Thats a critical piece. i would invite you to come to shelby county. >> president trump: i dont know what that means. >> i can tell you what that means. if you have an active shooter in the hall and hes going around looking for targets and somebody is monitoring, they have smoke canisters that can blind the shooter and attract him from his target. that gives that critical time when hes alone looking for targets, now he is discombobulated and doesnt know where hes going. >> president trump: hopef...

Lost her son. its still happening. in australia there was a shooting at a school in 1999. you know after that, they took a lot of ideas, put legislation together, and they stopped it. can anyone here guess how many shootings there have been in the schools since then in australia? zero. we need to do something. thats why were here. >> fox news doesnt cover what happened in australia, so thats probably the very first time that donald trump heard that. even some people who own ar-15s have changed t...

Settlement involving a teacher mistakenly, tragically, shooting a student, wounding a student or killing a student or several students. teachers will not be able to buy insurance policies that protect them from those risks, no insurance company would take that business. donald trump doesnt know who teachers are, he doesnt know what they actually do. hes never been a teacher, not related to a teacher. its not the type of work his kids would ever be drawn to. by all reports he never paid any atten...

Thats possible. no teacher ive spoken to said we can go out and actively hunt this shooter. i think more of what theyre thinking is if theyre in this room and this gentleman enters, they at least have something to defend themselves. >> i have colleagues who feel the same way. >> i know that not everybody wants to be armed, but some do. and you have to -- after going through it, i can understand why. i was probably 3 or 400 feet away. i heard the shots when i was evacuating and saw the look on my...

I accept i dont i even accept i i used thave a higher risk of stroke due to afib, a type of irregular heartbeat not caused by a heart valve problem. but no matter where i ride, i go for my best. so if theres something better than warfarin, ill go for that too. eliquis. eliquis reduced the risk of stroke better than warfarin, plus had less major bleeding than warfarin. eliquis had both. dont stop taking eliquis unless your doctor tells you to, as stopping increases your risk of having a stroke. e...

Teacher to do that firearms training. but lets just assume that happens, we train teachers with firearms just as much as we train police officers. heres something donald trump doesnt know, most bullets fired by trained police officers miss their targets most of the time. and they miss their targets by wide margins, for many reasons but mostly because the target isnt cooperating with being shot. the target isnt stationary, the target is moving. and theres no form of training and experience than g...
