telling college kids with iphones in their hands that the conversation was off the record. really? luntz, you need to get updated with how kids use technology. they have no loyalty, but only to the information. this is what they re saying behind closed doors. it s a good thing for liberals in america. for more on all of this, let s bring in talk radio consultant holland cooke. holland, it s great to have you with us. holy smokes, they are throwing sand in the sand box. what s going on here? of all people, you d think a media consultant would know that the camera never blinks. and, ed, you ve known me long enough to know that i m not much of a conspiracy theorist. but this is enough to make you wonder. i myself a media consultant with sympathize with frank luntz, because there is nothing more frustrating than you do the research, you formulate a plan, you outline it for the client, and then the client doesn t follow instructions. and the results are bad. so here s the conspiracy theor
next abortion battle will make the state capital in austin, texas, look more like madison, wisconsin, before the walker recall. joining me now on a rapid response panel, state senator from hey high, nina turner. also with us, john nick dlols and jim moore, author. we have to start with you in texas. is there no stopping the attacks on women s rights? your thoughts? what s happening? well, i think they have a problem on their hands. the governor has complicated it for them. we had a west texas loyalman here in the 990 case against sam richards for governor who once said something similar to what he has said about wendy davis. he made it personal. he said, i ll going to hoof her and drag her through the rough. making it a male/female thing. that s what he has done. that doesn t mean he won t keep up the attack.
court because the goal in juvenile court is treatment, rehabilitation and supervision, not incarceration. you also want to get out of adult court. hover, it appears to me pretty clear in california no one above 14 may be charged as an adult. that doesn t mean he won t be charged ask tried in the juvenile system, which has judges and a court and all the same rules of evidence for the most part. and just ten seconds left, but if he does get elevated to adult court, one of the most serious sentences you could face is life, no parole. i know the supreme court has weighed-in on that, but they haven t abolished it. no. it has not yet been abolished. and of course the state sentencing rules if he is if he were to be tried as an adult, which again i don t believe he can be tried as an adult, however the state sentencing will govern there. all right. well, we ll watch to see that. it s disturbing on every angle. danny cevallos, thank you for your insight on that. we appreciate it. it is
and wondering where is anybody who is out there who is giving our point of view on this. who is talking about the importance of second amendment rights? you come from alaska, a state, a gun culture state, do you think that people out there who are frustrated that their voices are not a part of this conversation right now, at lowe s in the media, that at least in the media, that they actually have a point? certainly there are people that are frustrated. i peel like wayne lapierre who is the head of the nra has been on a lot. and he has made his case, and frankly he doesn t have a very good case. at some point you do have to say, you re making claims that aren t true. you re claiming that obama wants to basically overthrow the second amendment and take away your guns. completely false. at some point he shouldn t be allowed to say that any more. when the president wants to get background checks, which as judy said the majority of the country supports that is a minor regulation, frankl
the republican fever would break. there wouldn t be this intense desire to get him out of office and there might be a opportunities for republicans and democrats to work together. is that maybe what we re seeing. he said that before out of one side of his mouth. and out of other side of his mouth he trashed with republicans from kingdom come. i want to work with the white house and president but he doesn t meet us halfway and this is the way he treats us. the proof is in the pudding. this president has been president over four years, going on 4 1/2 years now. he has had plenty of opportunities to really take on serious entitlement reform and i mean structural reform, not just chain cpi he is talking about now. he has had plenty of time to rein in government spending and in fact he has gone the other way. so there is nothing in his history or pattern of behavior here to suggest that a change. now that doesn t mean he won t but my expectations are very low. jon: so the chain cpi, which
