a much better way to get that information out there. so i think there is still value of him testifying even if it is just reading the report. as a prosecutor, you think, yeah, his feelings don t dear day. yeah. you don t always get what you want. he can say he doesn t want to come. i think he ultimately will come if asked. he would certainly come if subpoenaed. i understand why he doesn t want to. nobody wants to testify if they don t have to. but if congress decides they want to hear from him, he will make himself available. i don t want to get too high minded but giving press conferences and writing reports where you control serving different than being questioned. lawyers and prosecutors and journalists know that better than some. we tend on ask a lot of questions. so part of what mueller is saying, i defined it this way. for the congress who have a different role, it is very different.
uniquely difficult position she s in. i can only speak for myself. i think most members are coming to the conclusion on their own based on the readings of the facts. that s what s leading me at the place i m arriving at. this president is out of control. he clearly has taken steps that under normal circumstances would be so far outside the bounds of reason that the outrage would be incredible. he has through this death of 1,000 cuts over the last couple yea years slowly degraded the respect for the norms of our democracy that some of the things he does are not read as being outrageous by many. i think that s a really dangerous precedent for us. do democrats have plans to get robert mueller to testify? i believe he should, and i ve been pushing that we should insist that he testify. we know he doesn t want to. but i don t think that relieves him of the obligation. yes, many of us are pressing that he should be subpoenaed to
