Book of Dogri short stories by Rajeshwar Singh ‘Raju’ released Book of Dogri short stories by Rajeshwar Singh ‘Raju’ released Excelsior Correspondent JAMMU, July 3: In an on-line function organised by Dogri Sanstha Jammu, a book of Dogri short stories entitled “Keh Pata” authored by well-known writer Rajeshwar Singh ‘Raju’ was released by Anuradha Gupta, Deputy Commissioner, Samba. Rajeshwar Singh ‘Raju’ is a prolific Dogri and Hindi writer who has also earned name and fame in the areas of theatre, radio and journalism. Prof Veena Gupta, a senior Dogri scholar and former Head of Department of Dogri, Jammu University, read an insightful paper highlighting the salient features of the released book.

Dogri Sanstha Sammaan conferred on prominent litterateurs, artists Dogri Sanstha Sammaan conferred on prominent litterateurs, artists Excelsior Correspondent JAMMU, Dec 24: As a part of celebration of “Dogri Manayata Din” Dogri Sanstha Jammu today honoured six prominent persons from the fields of Literature, Art and Journalism with Dogri Sanstha Sammaan- 2020 in an online function. Those who were conferred with the Sammaan, include: Gyaneshwar Sharma – a senior Dogri writer, Chaman Arora – a veteran short story writer, Santosh Sangra – a well-known theatre and radio artist and a senior Dogri writer, Deepak Kumar – a renowned theatre director, Ashok Sharma – a senior journalist and Dr Ratan Basotra -for having bagged the translation award from Sahitya Akademi, New Delhi.
