For those of you not in the know, Sicily is an autonomous island at the toe of Italy and also the largest Mediterranean island. It is almost three hours by plane from Berlin. We arrived in Sicily on a Thursday afternoon and were picked up at the airport by our host at Due Dicilie Maison de Charme Tanja.
