Cathaoirleach of Louth CC, Dolores Minogue, has praised the work carried out at Cherrybrook in Ardee. It s great to see the potholes gone, she stated. I remember we brought the minister to the estate some years ago in a bid to secure action, but I m glad that the work has been finally done, she added. A lot of people raised this estate down the years and it s good to get a result.
Cherrybrook residents have had to endure a torrid time with poor roads and footpaths. While the road improvements have been carried out, this is an old estate and the footpaths need attention. I ll continue to press for funding for those works.
