In its first match since simply calling itself the Filipinas, the Philippine team quickly deposed Fiji in the first 45 minutes, although the latter's stand in the second half should serve as an eye-opener for the former as it gears up for the Southeast Asian Games in Hanoi starting on May 6. Quinley Quezada began what would be her birthday bash as she struck first for the Filipinas in the 13th minute. Anicka Castaneda then made it 2-0 in the 17th minute before Dom Randle added the Filipinas' third goal in the 25th minute.
