Coming off an unexpected series sweep against UCLA, Cal looks to continue its winning streak as the Bears welcome Washington State for the last home conference series.
Cal came out swinging against UCLA as if it was a home run derby, sending four balls out of the yard each game. Its offensive prowess led the way to a series sweep.
The Bears continue to struggle against conference competitors, losing an away series to the Beavers in what could turn out to be a decisive set of games in determining the Pac-12 later this year.
Currently 1-5 in Pac-12 play after dropping two of three games against the Trojans, the Bears take on Saint Mary’s and Oregon State in an attempt to find the success they had earlier on in the season.
Following its back-to-back series sweeps against New Mexico and Utah, Cal finishes its 2022 campaign with a 28-25 regular season record, earning it the No. 6 seed in the Pac-12 tournament.
