PASIG CITY, Jan. 25 (PIA) –The Department of Trade & Industry - Bureau of Domestic Trade Promotion is inviting the public to attend the first-ever Virtual National Trade Fair, to be held from January 27 to February 2, 2021 through its website: virtualnationaltradefair.dti.gov.ph.
Over the years, the event gained a loyal following of Metro Manila consumers who visit f to stock up on their favorite products from the regions. Simultaneously, the event was a venue for institutional buyers from department stores to negotiate and place bulk orders for new merchandise.
Since there is an ongoing pandemic, the national trade fair has to go digital, but it has become more accessible to a larger market beyond Metro Manila, and even beyond the Philippines.

In lieu of the usual National Trade Fair (NTF) organized annually, the Department of Trade and Industry – Bureau of Domestic Trade Promotion (DTI-BDTP) is launching the NTF Digital Mall. This is in response to the unprecedented challenges faced by micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) during the COVID-19 pandemic, which has adversely impacted their operations.
To help MSMEs future-proof their businesses as they pivot to online selling, the NTF Digital Mall is a platform that offers continuous promotion of the food and non-food products from the different regions, amid the physical restrictions of the pandemic. A project of the DTI-BDTP in collaboration with the DTI-Regional and Provincial Offices, the NTF Digital Mall is an e-commerce platform inside the UB GlobalLinker site.
