Don't be fooled on TABOR-killing Proposition HH. The Taxpayer Bill of Rights, or TABOR, is under attack once again by the tax-hungry left. Colorado citizens voted to make it an amendment to the Colorado Constitution in 1994. TABOR refunds are paid to citizens when certain state tax revenues grow faster than a rate determined by inflation and population growth. The ballot language does not mention TABOR and is misleading. Don't be fooled. Vote no on HH.

Yesterday, I got a large flier in the mail about school board candidates. It troubled me, because it was the first negative campaigning I have seen. I noticed it wasn’t from a candidate but came from “Students Deserve Better.”
LOVELAND — The Colorado Department of Transportation remains in full support of the Federal Aviation Administration’s experimental remote air-traffic control tower at Northern Colorado Regional Airport despite its vendor’s decision to withdraw from the program, the facility’s governing commissioners were told at their regular meeting on Thursday.
Yes, Kat McManus is fairly new to Loveland, but I have found her to be a quick study and fresh eyes on improving local government. Unlike her opponent, Kat understands the harm metro districts and huge incentives to Big Development can inflict on our community. She would work to see development pay its own way. We need someone who is more concerned about the price tag of an airport terminal than whether it will have a baby changing table. Ward 2 needs the thoughtful and responsive representation on City Council that someone like Kat, with the practicality of a farming background, can deliver.
