For decades, the Texas Panhandle Heritage Foundation the producers of the “Texas Outdoor Musical” in Palo Duro Canyon and the Panhandle-Plains Historical Museum have provided opportunities based out of Canyon for individuals throughout the Texas Panhandle, throughout the state and the United States to learn more about this region’s history and about how it got to be where it is today.
Through the new Cultural Foundation of the Texas Panhandle, announced earlier this week by West Texas A&M University President Walter Wendler, both entities are coming together under the same advisory body, consisting of a board made up of individuals from throughout the state of Texas, wanting to help preserve the culture of the Texas Panhandle.

Their managers are ignorant that bonds and other key asset classes are increasingly correlated to equities. And they naively believe that the pricey hedge funds they shovel their money into will provide safe haven in a selloff.
