Massachusetts spends thousands more on school construction aid for white students than for students of color
Massachusetts took aggressive steps two decades ago to rein in out of control school construction spending, but the effort has led to huge disparities in funding, with substantially more aid going to white students on a per pupil basis than to Latino and Black students, a Globe review has found.
