The Nevada Department of Wildlife (NDOW) has announced Kristy Knight as the department’s new chief game warden. In this position, Knight will oversee more than 50 members of the Law Enforcement Division, including 40 game wardens.

Donor Network West gathered healthcare heroes and organ donation advocates on Saturday, April 1 to kick off Donate Life Month.

In recognition of those who have received life-saving transplants and in honor of both living and deceased donors, Donor Network West lights the iconic Reno Arch blue and green every April during Donate Life Month. The Arch turned blue and green Saturday, April 1, during a special ceremony and will remain blue and green the entire month.

The City declared April as National Donate Life Month during the lighting.

The City will also be declaring April National Donate Life Month during the lighting at 7:30 p.m. Saturday night.
