Cole played as an off-ball linebacker in his final collegiate season. At 6-feet-2 and 240 pounds, he has the versatility and athleticism to play all three linebacker positions in base formations: SAM, MIKE, and WILL.
As an off-ball defender, Cole flies around the field throwing his body at ball carriers and making plays. In 10 games, Cole totaled 6.5 tackles for loss, two sacks and two forced fumbles.

Ron: BoPete Keyes
With last week’s signing of former first-round pick Mike Hughes, Keyes becomes a more prominent resident of the roster bubble. In recent years, the Chiefs have kept four or five cornerbacks on the Week 1 roster; they haven’t kept six since 2017. If they once again keep five corners, it’s hard to see Keyes beating out Hughes or players like L’Jarius Sneed, Charvarius Ward, Rashad Fenton and Deandre Baker.

CLEMSON, S.C. â A historic draft for Clemson that started with the first No. 1 pick in program history on Thursday concluded Saturday with the fifth-round selection of Cornell Powell by the Kansas City Chiefs with the No. 181 overall pick. Powellâs selection gave Clemson five total picks in the 2021 NFL Draft.
