The Sauquoit volunteer fire department recently purchased a 2024 Can-Am Defender Limited, equipped with all-terrain treads, through donations from the community, officials said. The side-by-side will allow the department better access to difficult, off-road terrain, whether responding to calls or transporting equipment through forest or snow terrain.

WADDINGTON The Waddington Concert Series 2021 presents North Country favorites Double Axel on Friday, July 16, from 6:30-9:30 p.m. at the pavilion at Island View Park overlooking the St. Lawrence River.
