This week, eight seniors signed national letters of intent including seven football players.
John Updike, Mayville State University, Football
John Updike signed a letter of intent to play football next year at Mayville State University in North Dakota.
Updike, who plans to major in exercise science, will play linebacker for the Comets.
“When we went down and visited, the people were really nice and it kind of just felt like home,” John Updike said. “I like that fact that they’re trying to rebuild the team and that there’s a lot of opportunities for us to come out there and make a difference.
