The Quad County Emergency Operations Center in Carson City reports Monday, April 20 that there are 3 additional recoveries and no new positive cases of COVID-19 in the Quad-County region. The total number of cases remains at 61, with 18 recoveries, 43 cases remain active.

Douglas County Commissioner Mary Ann Borgeson said there's a misconception that county commissioners like herself decide when young offenders get released. -- "We provide the facility. The Douglas County Sheriffโs Office is asking for the publicโs help in identifying two men who are considered persons of interest in a theft last month at the Walmart Store located on Grant Avenue in Gardnerville. On July 19, 2014 at approximately 9:46 p.m., two male suspects in the photo here entered Walmart and selected several items.

Carson City Health and Human Services is reporting Wednesday, August 26, 2020 that there are four new cases and two additional recoveries of COVID-19 in the Quad-County region. This brings the total number of cases to 967, with 869 recoveries and fifteen deaths, 83 cases remain active.
