The Boston Symphony’s summer home returns to the “old normal” this summer after a 2020 pandemic wipeout and a condensed six-week 2021 season.

There may be a chill in the air, but arts and nightlife events continue to warm our spirits.

Courtesy Walton Arts Center Catch a live symphony broadcast from the Great Hall of Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art by tuning in to 91.3 FM from 8-10 p.m. Thursday, June 20. This years "Mozart in the Museum" features the 2019 Artosphere Festival Orchestra led by Corrado Rovaris performing three works from Mozart including his eponymous serenade "Eine kleine Nachtmusik" and  his 29th symphony.

Courtesy / Dover Quartet The Dover Quartet is a familar ensemble at the annual Artosphere Festival at the Walton Arts Center. Theyre back this year and will be heard live on KUAF tonight at 7:00. Before they arrived in Fayetteville, they talked with Lia Uribe and Leigh Wood about expanding the audience for classical music and emerging from the pandemic as performers.

12 pm ET: Mark Morris Dance Group presents Dido and Aeneas. A screening of the 1995 film directed by Barbara Willis Sweete who recreated the Dido and Aeneas set on a sound stage in Toronto and filmed it without the constraints of a proscenium stage and with Morris in his critically acclaimed role. The screening will be followed by a live Q&A with Morris and Sweete and launches a week of activities including talks with dancers and artistic collaborators.
