of you. job well done. what did you find, officer o connell, when you arrived on scene there? i found the boy, luckily i pulled into the right spot at the right time. i got out and started screaming where are you at? i heard him screaming so i just bee lined it down the hill towards the ice. i saw him in there and i tried to talk to him and keep him calm. i tried to throw him the rescue bag which fell just short. i had to go onto the ice and retrieve it. other officers arrived and that s when i went in. so i turned around and managed to get myself out. we had other officers on the other side of me come down the hill and they were getting the boy out while officer killen came out to help immediate. he grabbed for my hand and he went in. now we had two of us in the water. we managed to get out and
