Vice President M. Venkaiah Naidu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other top leaders on Friday greeted citizens on Constitution Day.

To acknowledge the contribution of the framers and to enlighten people on the prominent values that the constitution accommodates, 26th November is celebrated as the Constitution Day in India.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday greeted citizens on Constitution Day and shared on Twitter a part of B R Ambedkar's speech in the Constituent Assembly in which he moved a motion for adoption of the draft Constitution.

In 2015, November 26 was declared as an observatory and celebratory day by PM Narendra Modi as he lay the foundation stone of B.R. Ambedkars Statue of Equality memorial in Mumbai on his 125th birth anniversary.
