Antibay mud said a 16 water main ruptured. They get a call at 8 00 this morning. Residents wait add long time for help to get here and said it was frustrate asking scary. We called 911 three times and it took half an hour to arrive. East bay mud was here and they were putting up traffic cones and at one point the firefighter and my partner and i were standing on the road in submerged ruptured and we fell in, and the other firefighters had to run over and pull us out of the water. They got here when we could, it takes time, because oakland has a lost remark and we do not have licensed sirens and we respond as quickly as we could and will not leave until the pipe is prepared, the street is reconcreted and everything is cleaned up and everyone has water.
We begin with the rv that caught fire in the middle of highway 101. Started around 4 30 this afternoon in the northbound lanes just past holly street in san carlos. Chp shut down both lanes in both drechblingts they have since reopened. Rv returning from a rocket show and had 4 rocket on board. No word yet what rocket started the fire. Also a lrj pro tank tank on board common for rv. So crew fight the flame from a distance in case the tank exploded. Cars were stuck for a couple of hours while the rv burned. Sky 7 was overhead as motorcycle drove backward through traffic to try to get out of the jam there. Other drivers forced to wait it out. Some were signature on the side of the freeway frustrated with the long delay. Both sides of that roadway are now open. This video shaivrd on periscope. Take a look at some of the video from earlier today. You can see here dozens of Union City Police officers, also s. W. A. T. Teams from fremont and newark, they arrived here within minutes. The woman who called 911 had told police her exboyfriend was holding her hostage in her own home for two days. Police officers say though when they arrived she was initially uncooperative. She says she didnt really want to tell the officers that mans fame and she would only say that he was in the home alone and armed with some type of gun. Law enforcement was negotiating with who they believed was that womans exboyfriend when another man called police and said he was coming out of the house. Thanksgiving. Santa clara county Sheriffs Office conducted numerous raids across the south bay today looking for these 2 men. We were the if is to break the news and we were at one of the raids on inman way. Vic lee is on the story. Im shaking because it is scary. Reporter neighbors were startled by the operation which started around noon here on inman way between waverly and cunningham avenue.
