Unicef: Over 43 million kids displaced by floods, storms, droughts, wildfires between 2016-2021

A new Unicef report reveals that approximately 20,000 children are displaced every day due to extreme weather caused by climate change. Climate change: 20,000 children displaced every day by extreme weather, UNICEF report finds

More than 43 million children have been driven from their homes by floods, storms, droughts and wildfires over the six years between 2016 and 2021, according to new data from UNICEF. That works out to 20,000 children displaced every single day due to extreme weather fueled by climate change.
