defeated a measure to make marijuana legal. bad enough it is legal for medical purposes. this demand is large and growing. i don t know who is using the drugs but somebody is to the tune of tends of billions per tens of billions per year. greta: our court systems are clogged with drug prosecutions it is not a solution to keep throwing people in jail. i m not saying keep them out of jail but it has such a ripple effect. it has more to do with the acceptance of useage. this hasn t been true for 200 years in american history. we had a turning point in the late 60s and we haven t done anything effective to stop it since then. i think if you had more moral leadership from political and civic leaders you could begin to cut back the illegal dug abuse. the only alternative is to legalize, some people want to do that. i don t think that will reduce
