Overcharged. it was clearly a second-degree murder case in my mind, and the time and energy should have been spent on explaining to the jury the application of the second-degree murder instructions. and that really was not done here. enough time wasnt spent on that. they placed all of their forces on first-degree, and we ended up here now with a partial verdict. and now the taxpayers of the state of florida have to have this case retried while the poor family has to sit through another case. >> ...
