A PILOT service that uses rural fire stations as coronavirus testing centres in the Highlands is to be expanded, Nicola Sturgeon said. NHS Highland has been trialling the pilot in Thurso and Lochgilphead to use the fire stations as bases where people can get tested for Covid-19. Argyll islands Small island communities in Argyll and Bute should be vaccinated together against Covid-19 instead of waiting in different tier groups, health chiefs have said. Shelved: Cape Towns mobile library service to end after 60 years Its the final chapter for a much-loved Cape Town institution that has been serving the community for six decades.
