A TV crew was in the Orlando area reporting on a fatal shooting earlier the same day when a man approached their vehicle and opened fire.

Spectrum News 13 identified the slain reporter Thursday as Dylan Lyons. Photographer Jesse Walden was also wounded, according to AP.

A television journalist was fatally shot while reporting from the crime scene of an earlier incident.

A second news crew member with Spectrum News 13 who was also shot is in critical condition. A 9-year-old girl and a 38-year-old woman were also killed in the shooting spree.

Four people were shot on Wednesday afternoon in the same Orange County neighborhood where a woman was found dead earlier in the day. Two victims in the afternoon shootings have also died. Two others remain in critical condition at a local hospital.

Journalist Dylan Lyons was murdered February 22, in the Pine Hills neighborhood outside of Orlando, while on assignment. Lyons was a journalist at Spectrum News 13.
