Wheaton tennis player Joshua Lim won 381 points playing singles tournaments in the junior Boys’ 16 category of the United States Tennis Association by February.

The Jefferson City Jays continued their slow start to the season Tuesday, dropping their Central Missouri Activities Conference opener to the Rock Bridge Bruins 10-0 in five innings at Vivion Field. The Jays ran into a dominant left-hander on the mound Tuesday, as Payton Messer threw all five innings while only allowing one hit and three walks in the shutout effort for the Bruins.

The Jefferson City Jays picked up their first win of the season Monday as an impressive offensive showing led them to a 10-4 victory against Kirksville at Vivion Field.
